98% of what we publish comes from the so-called slush pile.
We take submissions 365 days a year. We accept work for publication on a continual basis and publish within one year of acceptance. Most issues contain someone who has not been published before.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- Send unpublished Stories or Personal Essays, up to 6,000 words
- Short plays or poems, up to 4,000 words
- Art from cover art to literary cartoons. Photograph, Paintings, Drawing in Black & White or Color (Slides or Copies, not originals)
- Styles range from classical to expiremental
- Include biography and self addressed stamped envelope or include email for response only
- Simultaneous submissions welcome, let us know if piece is accepted Elsewhere. It takes us approximately 5 months to respond, please include patience
